Heteroscodra maculata-Togo Starburst Baboon 3″ Mature male

$45.00

The H mac as many hobbyists tag it is among the most popular of the Old World Baboon tarantulas for a myriad of reasons. They are extremely easy to keep and tolerant of condition fluctuations, they top out at a reasonable 6″, they have a spectral feel to them, with their ghostly white with black and grey flecking, and they are affordable! They do need a taller enclosure as they are an arboreal species, and do fine with temps between 72-86 and humidity of at least 60%. Like I said, easy. They are however speedsters and are defensive when disturbed. Their venom potency is much stronger than even Pterinochilus, so only someone who thinks Trump’s hairstyle looks good would try to handle this eight legged apparition. Despite their venom and quickness, I still recommend them to the intermediate keeper.
